Mark Thompson's first day cover exhibit, Women of the Black Heritage Series . . . from the Fields of Slavery to the Halls of Congress, won the American Philatelic Society's Most Popular Champion of Champions competition at the Great American Stamp Show in Rosemont, Illinois.

Three exhibits that had been chosen as Most Popular at shows during the 12 months preceding Great American Stamp Show vied for the honor. The voting at those shows was by those attending them, and Thompson's exhibit again received the most votes from those attending GASS.

Congratulations, Mark!
