In August the American First Day Cover Society launched the $100 From 100 Campaign. Like many organizations, our income cycle doesn't always match our expense cycle. Thus, at certain times of the year, bill paying is more difficult. The purpose of this campaign is to get one hundred AFDCS members to donate $100 each, establishing a $10,000 nest egg for the AFDCS so we don't have to go begging every year. (Unlike some organizations, the AFDCS doesn't have a large endowment fund.)

We’re pleased to report that we've had 35 donors so far. This means we need 65 more. If you’re an AFDCS member and you enjoy the hobby of first day cover collecting and the benefits the AFDCS provides, please consider making a $100 donation (or more!) to help preserve the future of the Society and the hobby.
